Shushh Sound Reducing Ultrasonic Cleaner Enclosure (Acoustic box)

Noisy units are only very annoying to staff and patients but they may be causing hearing damage during their cycles. Frequencies from ultrasonic cleaners have a detrimental effect on hearing-for the very same reason they clean things so well. You may not even be able to hear the frequencies that are doing the damage. The Shushh acoustic enclosure is an excellent, cost effective solution for noisey units especially for cheaper, ultrasonic baths or those with smaller practices where space is more confined. 

How do they work? Each unit is made of durable polypropylene, which is insulated like a drinks cooler. They have a front hatch to access your controls and a top lid to add or remove instruments into your cleaner. Power is run through a sealed gland and each unit has a waste drain for emptying or in case of liquid spills. During the cleaning operation, an exahust fan pulls heat and humidity from the enclosure to ensure your ultrasonic cleaner normal operation.

Available in small, medium & large sizes, all units come with:

- an adjustable low voltage exhaust fan to remove warm, humid air away from the ultrasonic unit.

- a quick action hatch (opening left or right) to access controls that can be installed on either side of the enclosure, to match your particular unit design. The standard layout has the hatch opening left to right, on the lower right side of the enclosure.

- a study heat and chemical resistant ployethylene construction allows for easy cleaning. Each unit has a waste drain allowing tubing to be plumbed as normal out of the enclosure. 

- a sound proof gland, allowing your existing power cable to be fed through the enclosure.

- a customizable design allowing for small design and position tweaks, made just right for your ultrasonic cleaner.

The dimensions for each size enclosure are taken internally. When choosing which sized enclosure is right for you, please take the most extreme measurements of your unit. It does not hurt to have a little extra space around your ultrasonic cleaner. Please contact our office to ensure the best options for your ultrasonic cleaner and for your practice. Hatch doors can be installed opening left to right or vise versa, either on the left or right side of the enclosure. The power cord gland can be installed on the left, right or rear of box depenidng on your unit or power point location. Drain hoses on most units are fixed to the right side of the enclosure. Left or right side draining units will both work with these enclosures.
